The count-down to Christmas is well under way. Only 8 days left to prepare for what is often the biggest, most exhausting day of the year. Are you ready? Regardless of whether you are totally on top of things, or depressingly dis-organised, take a break this week and recharge your batteries. Because, the only person who can - is you! Christmas preparations, on top of all the usual busy-ness of life can be the last straw - you know, the one that breaks the camel's back (not that it is my intention to compare you to a camel). Think of your energy levels like a bank account: Money in, money out, in the black or in the red. Are you running a big overdraft on your energy levels at the moment? Can you afford to spend a large part of next year paying off your energy overdraft from this Christmas? Would you manage your money the way you manage your energy? Sometimes, "No" and "Stop" can be your best friends. Do you really need to spend an hour searching for the perfect present; or meeting that not-so-close-friend that just has to give you his or her Christmas present in person; or cleaning out that cupboard that you never go into, just because you've got visitors coming? Give yourself a break. Take an hour to yourself, for yourself, by yourself. And you'll notice on Christmas day how much more relaxed you are. And that's what it's all about after all - having fun and enjoying yourself. And this is the week to schedule some time off for yourself. Next week, all your best intentions will fly out the window as the demands of Christmas become more pressing. But, this week, you can squeeze an hour for yourself. So do it: Have a facial, or a relaxing Reflexology or Indian Head Massage treatment: Rejuvinating Facial Massage is a real treat before Christmas, it helps tone brighten the skin, act as an exfoliant and it's really, really relaxing. Reflexology helps to rebalance the body, and boost energy levels and it's really, really relaxing. Indian Head Massage helps to release tension in the neck and shoulders and it's really, really relaxing. And to save you time, get some gift vouchers instead of spending hours searching for presents - they'll be really appreciated. To book a treatment or buy vouchers, contact Doris on 07724 197627.
